Judas and the Black Messiah star Dominique Fishback has landed her next role! The actress is set to star as Robyn in Apple Studios’ upcoming limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. Fishback joins the previously announced Samuel L. Jackson.

The upcoming series is an adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel by the same name. It follows 91-year-old Ptolemy Grey (Jackson), a man forgotten by his friends, family, and himself, who’s on the precipice of falling into a deep and lonely dementia. When Ptolemy gains the chance to briefly have his memories back, he sets out to solve his nephew’s death and come to terms with his own past.

Mosley is set to write and executive produce the adaptation. Ramin Bahrani (The White Tiger) is expected to direct and executive produce. Jackson, David Levine, Eli Selden, Diane Houslin, and LaTanya Richardson Jackson will all join as executive producers. There’s currently no word yet on a projected release date, but the series will release on Apple TV+.
