If you’ve ever had a Netflix account or know someone with a Netflix account you have probably heard of the hit original show of the streaming service Cobra Kai. Well, we have some exciting news, Cobra Kai fans!

Deadline announced Friday, February 26 that two reccurring stars of the hit Netflix show are officially now series regulars — meaning you’ll be able to see even more of your favorite stars!

Netflix

Peyton List (Tory Nichols) and Vanessa Rubio (Carmen Diaz), who were originally booked as reccurring roles, will now be series regulars in the upcoming fourth season which is currently in production in Atlanta, Georgia. Rubio, who portrays Miguel’s mother, has been a reccurring star of the popular show since its first season. Whereas List, who plays a tough as nails classmate and teen, has been on the show since its second season.

That isn’t all, though! Oona O’Brien, who is new to the show, and Dallas Dupree Young will now be set to be recurring roles in the next season. O’Brien will portray new quick tempered student Devon, and Young will come back as Kenny, the new kid in school with a rough start.

If you haven’t watched the show, Cobra Kai is the sequel to the popular The Karate Kid film and is set over 30 years after the notorious All Valley Karate Tournament in 1984. The rivalry between Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso reignites when Lawrence, who is now an unemployed mechanic, takes young Miguel under is wing and teaches him Karate to help him deal with bullies and starts a dojo. Lawrence’s estranged son Robby also convinces LaRusso’s wife to hire him at the car dealership she owns with Daniel, which makes things even more difficult. I won’t spoil what happens in the show, but Cobra Kai is definitely a show everyone should watch. Stay tuned for the latest Cobra Kai and Netflix news!
