Amazon Releases Official Trailer for New Show ‘Invincible’

Amazon’s upcoming animated superhero series Invincible just received its first official trailer.

Brought to life by The Walking Dead creator and co-author of the Invincible comics Robert Kirkman, this new one-hour animated series for adults is based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name. Telling the story a teenage Mark Grayson whose father happens to be the single most powerful superhero on the planet, the show follows Mark as he starts developing powers of his own and life gets much more complicated.

The trailer makes it clear that this show is definitely aimed at adults, and will be darker and more grisly than your typical animated show. Think more The Boys than Teen Titans. This is in line with Amazon’s recent programming direction, and when you add in the show’s all-star voice cast — which includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, Andrew Rannells, Mark Hamill, and Zachary Quinto among others — this show looks to be another major hit for the streamer.

If this sounds like it something that might be up your alley, be sure to check out the first three episodes of Invincible on Amazon Prime Video on March 26.
