As a wise evil Supe once said, sometimes it’s hard being superior to every single other television show on the planet. Amazon’s hit series The Boys has earned two major award nominations, receiving nods from the Writers Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild. Writers Eric Kripke, Ellie Monahan, Anselm Richardson, Craig Rosenberg, Michael Saltzman, and Rebecca Sonnenshine were recognized by the WGA as nominees for Best Drama Series. The WGA Awards will be held virtually on March 21, 2021.

The Boys also earned a SAG Award nomination in the Best Stunt Ensemble in a Comedy or Drama Series category, honoring the work of the many talented performers who help create the action sequences seen on screen. The SAG Awards will be announced on April 4, 2021 on TNT and TBS at 9 p.m. ET.

The Boys will soon begin filming its third season, with no premiere date set. Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream now on Amazon Prime Video.
