Man of Action Entertainment, creators of Ben 10, will be serving as showrunners and executive producers for the 24-episode series, and the show itself will be created by Sega of America alongside Wildbrain. Aimed at children ages 6 to 11, the animated adventure show will feature the high-speed blue hedgehog in some high-octane adventures as he races to save the universe in a brand new journey.
With the Sonic video game series celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the series announcement could not have come at a better time to draw in fans who are excited to have the opportunity to introduce their children to the character through this new show.
