AMC Announces Release Date for Second Half of Season 6 of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’

AMC has announced the official return date for Fear the Walking DeadThe Walking Dead spin-off will air the second half of it’s sixth season on Sunday, April 11 at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. C. There will be nine episodes total airing and AMC+ subscribers can enjoy the episodes early each week.

The upcoming episodes will include three new characters played by John Glover (Smallville), Nick Stahl (Carnivale), and Keith Carradine (Madam Secretary). Aisha Tyler (Criminal Minds) will also direct episode 13 of the season.

AMC also released a synopsis for the season, which you can find below:

“As Morgan’s (Lennie James) bid to free the remaining members of the group becomes bolder, Virginia (Colby Minifie) grows increasingly desperate to find her sister and protect the settlements from forces working inside and outside her walls. The second half of Season Six reveals the impact of what living under Virginia’s control has done to each person in this group, who once saw themselves as a family. New alliances will be formed, relationships will be destroyed, and loyalties forever changed. When everyone is forced to take sides, they discover the meaning of, ‘The End is the Beginning.'”

Fear the Walking Dead stars Lennie James, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo, Jenna Elfman, Danay Garcia, Rubén Blades, Maggie Grace, Garret Dillahunt, and more.
