From Dark Horse Comics, new comics are coming from the world of Critical Role in the form of a new mini-series entitled Critical Role: The Tales of Exandria.

From the world of Exandria, already established in the Critical Role web-series, the series will explore side characters and storylines. The first series focuses on a familiar character from the Mighty Nein campaign.

Leylas Kryn, the Bright Queen of the Kryn Dynasty … has spent multiple lives in her pursuit to assemble the Luxon. With her eternal lover Quana at her side, she will stop at nothing to use its power to bring a Golden Age to the people under her rule. When what seems to be the final piece of the Luxon appears nearby, Leylas sends Quana to collect it … with consequences that may threaten the entire Kryn Dynasty!

The series has been created with creative consultation with Critical Role cast member Matthew Mercer. It has been written by Eisner Award winner Darcy Van Poelgeest and illustrated by fan artist CoupleofKooks. The cover art has been produced by Helen Mask.

The first issue out of the four bimonthly comics will be released March 17, 2021. It is available for pre-order at your local comic book store now!
