Here Are Some of the New Titles Coming to IFC Films Unlimited

With the colder weather coming, that makes it even more inviting to curl up with a movie. IFC Films Unlimited continuously adds titles like The Truth, Relic, Centigrade, and more to their already amazing lineup.

IFC Films Unlimited is a streaming service that is $5.99 a month. This option is also available in Canada through Amazon Prime Video Channels and Apple TV. This subscription service features over 175 movies, with more being added each month. Some of the December films being added include:

The Truth (2020)
Director: Hirokazu Kore-eda
Starring: Catherine Deneuve, Juliette Binoche, Ethan Hawke
Synopsis: A mother-daughter duo in this charming and wise tale of family dynamics. 

Relic (2020)
Director: Natalie Erika James
Starring: Emily Mortimer, Robyn Nevin, Bella Heathcote
Synopsis: When elderly mother Edna inexplicably vanishes, her daughter Kay and granddaughter Sam rush to their family’s decaying country home, finding clues of her increasing dementia scattered around the house in her absence. After Edna returns just as mysteriously as she disappeared, Kay’s concern that her mother seems unwilling or unable to say where she clashes with Sam’s unabashed enthusiasm to have her grandma back. As Edna’s behavior turns increasingly volatile, both begin to sense that an insidious presence in the house might be taking control of her.

How to Build a Girl (2020)

Synopsis: An irreverent comedy about Johanna – a girl on the cusp of womanhood desperate to reinvent herself as a rock music critic. Based on the bestselling book written by Caitlin Moran.

The Overbrook Brothers (2020)
Director: John Bryant
Starring: Nathan Harlan, Mark Reeb, Laurel Whitsett, Steve Zissis, John Jones
Synopsis: Brothers Jason and Todd have always been at each other’s throats, constantly trying to prove their dominance and superiority. When a Christmas dinner uncovers a buried family secret, they set out on a cross-country trip to unravel the mystery of their roots.

Centigrade (2020)
Director: Brendan Walsh
Starring: Vincent Piazza, Genesis Rodriguez
Synopsis: A blizzard traps a young married couple in their frozen vehicle, struggling to survive amid plunging temperatures and unforeseen threats in this pulse-pounding chiller.
