After 15 long, glorious, and unbelievable seasons, Baby the 1967 Chevrolet Impala has finally run out of gas — the Supernatural series finale is upon us.
What began as a television series based on two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, hunting down supernatural beings blossomed into so much more than anyone ever could have imagined over the course of a decade and a half. The dangerous, apocalyptic, sometimes hilarious, and always epic trials and tribulations of Sam, Dean, Castiel, Jack, and everyone else that appeared along the way have captivated fans from near and far, building a fiercely loyal and passionate fanbase over the years.
As we prepare for the final episode, “Carry On,” to air this evening at 9 p.m. EST after the celebratory send-off special at 8 p.m. EST, countless members of the cast and crew have begun to share their goodbyes for one of the most unforgettable television shows of all time.
Stay tuned, as we’ll be updating this list throughout the day!
I found my earliest #SPN notes. The start of the road as we reach the end. But nothing really ends. We’re dragon slayers & gunslingers & we’ll take care of each other, #SPNFamilyForever. Thanks for riding along. Driver picks music, shotgun shuts his cake hole. Love & thanks. pic.twitter.com/qVjj2Oy45V

If anybody else out there ALSO had a difficult time sleeping last night, I just wanna send some love and some hugs. From afar. Tonight’s gonna be a doozy. #SPNFamilyForever #SupernaturalFinale #akf

You know what’s amazing, Eric, you did it. An entire generation has grown up watching your mythic story about good vs. evil unfold. The course you charted when you wrote these paragraphs 16 years ago now cuts a road across our culture. Grateful to have been along for the ride. https://t.co/xfD0rgogok

In honour of the #supernatural series finale today, I wanted to post of picture of where, for me, it all started.
It has been a pleasure working with this team of humans over the years. I admired the depth and heart everyone brought to the show. pic.twitter.com/IvT6MSzUEs— Lisa Berry (@_LisaBerry) November 19, 2020

The band KANSAS wants to wish the entire cast, crew, and all of #SPNFamily well and congratulations on tonight’s series finale of @cw_spn. The little show that could has had quite the run and created quite the legacy. (1/2)

Today ends the long amazing journey for #SPN. It is a singular pleasure to be modestly connected to this show and its passionate, fan/family. All I can say is (don’t do it Todd…don’t…you promised…screw it…) FANGS FOR THE MEMORIES! (I did it) much love Drac. #nogarlic pic.twitter.com/DFjyEfrdLx

Pretty sure I got a copy of this before I scored the pilot…or at least something similar…from that moment on, we were all Winchesters…with a loud dose of classic rock and tons of scary strings and heartbreaking cello for the true soul of brotherhood… https://t.co/mb45nxOcya

I have such mixed feelings today. Endings are hard… but the friends, the family, the fans— the love is for life.
The end of the road may be bittersweet… but I’m damn grateful to have been included on the ride.#SPNFamilyForever #Supernatural pic.twitter.com/3yZKBr7Ons— Samantha Smith (@SamSmithTweets) November 19, 2020

4.5 years ago my life completely changed. I needed to make the jump onto a show in order to write tv. I interviewed for the PA job and didn’t get it, but was asked if I wanted to be considered for the Showrunner’s Assistant gig if the current Showrunner’s pilot got a pick up.

We cannot UNcreate. We cannot UNlove. We cannot UNfind each other. An ending does not end what has been made. I am and will continue to be grateful I am with you. Thank you. And evermore thanks. #Supernatural

Tonight! Glad to be a part of this incredible show for a tiny portion of it’s momentous 15 year run. It’s a weird feeling to get a write on one of your favorites shows prior to working on it. An incredible gift. https://t.co/cglkBt9dzm

To @cw_spn, crew, and @therealKripke, there are no words to convey how grateful, honored, and thankful we all are to be a part of the Winchesters. Big love for all things @JensenAckles and @jarpad, the two best sons a dad could ask for. Two of the best friends I could ask for. xo

Me signing my very first TV script contract. #Supernatural changed my life in profound ways and I don’t know where I’d be without it. I know I’m not alone in that feeling. That’s #SPNFamily. Thanks to all who made the show, and all who loved it- you made it more than a TV show. pic.twitter.com/ZMqOl6ksEi

I will never have another creative experience like it in my life. The dream of writing for TV (well, my dream) is to craft emotionally impactful stories and moments. In that sense, writing for Sam and Dean/Jared and Jensen is once in a lifetime.
