“The Con,” “Walking with a Ghost,” “Closer,” “Boyfriend,” and “Hey, I’m Just Like You,” those are just some of the hit songs from the Canadian indie-pop musicians Tegan and Sara Quin — check out our Pride Month Spotlight Series article here. Last year the twin sisters also released a book, High School. The memoir talks about their teen years, finding their identity, coming out, coming to terms with being queer, growing up in the 90s, and much more. Well, now that book is being developed into a television series.

They will be producing the coming of age series for IMDb TV streaming service through Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B Entertainment. Joining Tegan and Sara as an executive producer is Clea DuVall. She is also going to be writing and directing the pilot episode. You can see their announcement video below.

You can find more information about their book, High School, here, plus where to order it.
