The first episode, “Trouble Don’t Last Always”, will air on HBO at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and be available for streaming on HBO Max on December 6. The synopsis for the first episode is as follows:
In the aftermath of being left by Jules at the train station and relapsing, the first special episode follows Rue (played by Emmy®-winner Zendaya) as she celebrates Christmas.
Euphoria‘s first season, released in 2019, was a massive success. The show’s premise gave “A look at life for a group of high school students as they grapple with issues of drugs, sex and violence”. Its popularity skyrocketed and the drama garnered three Emmy Awards, with Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama by Zendaya, Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
