Ripley’s released this year’s 17th edition of their annual reference book of unique and unusual stories book titled Mind Blown! on September 29, which we wrote about here. One of the many amazing people that are highlighted in the book includes Anaïs Hayden.
Hayden is from Atlanta, Georgia, and combines art, her love for animals, and grooming to design Lisa Frank-inspired masterpieces. Each look can take her anywhere from three to six hours to transform the dogs into a tiger, giraffe, and more. My one question was what type of products she uses and if they are safe for the animals. But no worries there. Hayden makes sure that she only uses safe, nontoxic, plant-based products that have been approved by the National Dog Groomers Association. She has even worked with her local humane society to help get the dogs there all groomed to help them get adopted and find their furrever homes. You can see some of the adorable creations below.
