Michael B. Jordan to Produce DC’s Upcoming ‘Static Shock’

The Hollywood Reporter recently announced that Michael B. Jordan will carry his talents behind the scenes. The Creed and Black Panther actor is officially on board to produce Warner Bros. and DC’s upcoming film Static Shock. Jordan will join producer Reginald Hudlin (Marshall). Jordan is no stranger to the producing world. He has served as executive producer on projects such as Creed II, Raising Dion, and David Makes Man. He also stepped into the producer role for Just Mercy.

Static Shock was first announced in August during DC FanDome. The film will breathe new life into the 1990s comic series, releasing alongside other projects that are apart of DC’s Milestone line. There’s currently no set release date or further details, but the Milestone line is set to launch in February 2021.

While we still don’t know much about Static Shock, we can’t wait to see how Jordan helps bring the character to life!
