In the year of reboots and reunions, many productions have announced a revamping of old favorites. As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Amazon is bringing yet another classic back to life in a different way with a TV adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer.

The YA horror show will be based on the 1997 film and follow a group of teenagers who live in a small town that are stalked by a killer as a result of covering up a deadly accident on the night of their graduation the past year. Sony Pictures will be producing the film and multiple individuals such as Michael Clear and Neal H. Mortiz from Original Film and Atomic Monster will be on the executive production team.

We can’t wait to see how this classic is revamped. Stay tuned for more updates.
