A special surprise has arrived on Netflix today, just in time for the weekend!

Originally scheduled to arrive on Netflix October 7, the sixth and final season of Schitt’s Creek has made its way to the streaming service a few days early. Creator and star Dan Levy took to Twitter to announce the good news.

Schitt’s Creek follows the trials and tribulations of the Rose family, Johnny (Eugene Levy), Moira (Catherine O’Hara), David (Dan Levy), and Alexis (Annie Murphy), as their family fortune is lost to bankruptcy and they’re forced to begrudgingly relocate to a “quaint” little town that they had purchased as a joke long ago.

All 14 episodes of season 6 are now available on Netflix in the United States and Canada, as well as the emotionally charged behind-the-scenes farewell documentary Best Wishes, Warmest Regards.

This news comes just a few weeks after the astounding night that Schitt’s Creek had at the Emmys, in which the show completely swept the acting categories and obtained the most wins in one year for a comedy series.

Kick back and begin your weekend binge of the sixth and final season of Schitt’s Creek today, and make sure to check out our look back at some of the show’s best cold opens as well!
