In what has become the year for reunions, another TV show will see its cast together once again. Join the stars of the sitcom Andy Richter Controls the Universe as they reunite for a live table read and a discussion about why the show remains so important to them.
Cast members Andy Richter, Paget Brewster, James Patrick Stuart, Jonathan Slavin, Patricia Belcher, and Irene Mallory, along with creator and showrunner Victor Fresco, will take part in the read and discussion. Emily Chang, Andy Daly, and Greg Santos will guest star.
The reunion will be live-streamed on Sunday, September 13 at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET. Tickets are available on the House Seats website and cost $7 plus a $1.75 service fee. If you’re unable to watch live, the stream will remain available to watch until Sunday, September 20 at midnight ET. The event will benefit the International Rescue Committee and L.A. Regional Food Bank.
Andy Richter Controls the Universe ran for two seasons from 2002-2003. Starring as himself, it followed Andy Richter, a short story writer who earned his paycheck writing technical manuals for a major company in Chicago. He shares stories (through what viewers could see and as narration) of his daily life “as they should be, could be, might be, and even actually how they are.”
