Joel Edgerton, Marion Cotillard, Sebastian Stan, and More Join Cast of ‘The Brutalist’

As reported by Deadline, an incredible cast lineup has been revealed for the upcoming immigrant drama The Brutalist.

The film will include the likes of Joel Edgerton (Red Sparrow), Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies), Sebastian Stan (Captain America), Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), Isaach De Bankolé (Casino Royale), Alessandro Nivola (American Hustle), Raffey Cassidy (Tomorrowland), and Stacy Martin (Nymphomaniac: Vol. I).

The Brutalist comes from director Brady Corbet, and is co-written with his partner Mona Fastvold (The World to Come). Deadline states that the film, described as an “epic saga and unconventional love story, ” follows “30 years in the life of a visionary architect named László Toth (Edgerton) and his wife Erzsébet (Cotillard) who flee post-war Europe to rebuild their legacy and witness the birth of modern America. However, their lives are changed forever by a mysterious and wealthy client (Rylance).”

The Brutalist is currently slated to begin production in January 2021. Stay tuned for more information.
