The 2020 cancellation hits just keep on coming. The latest series to meet its demise is the AMC horror series NOS4A2. Executive producer Jami O’Brien took to Twitter yesterday and announced the unfortunate news that there would not be a season three. He thanked the author Joe Hill, the cast, and fans for two great seasons during the thread of messages.
CONGRATULATIONS to every single member of our phenomenal team on two seasons of weird and wonderful TV. I will miss seeing everyone back in Little Rhody this year, but I’m awfully proud of all we’ve done together… 2/4

And THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who tuned in — especially to those who tweeted along with us each week — you made Sunday nights a lot of fun. Hope to do it again with you all somewhere down the road… xoxoxo 4/4

The series, which is an adaptation from Joe Hill’s 2013 novel, follows the immortal villain Charlie Manx (Zachary Quinto) who feeds off children’s souls. Victoria McQueen (Ashleigh Cummings), a young artist, discovers that she has the ability to find lost supernatural things. Of course, that puts her in the path of Charlie Manx. Now she must fight to stop him and rescue his young victims who are trapped in Christmasland while not falling victim herself.
It featured Ashleigh Cummings, Jahkara Smith, Zachary Quinto, Virginia Kull, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ashley Romans, and more.
