Characters and Behind the Scenes Video for ‘The Suicide Squad’ Released at DC FanDome

Today is DC FanDome! During the two-day event, there will be many trailers released for upcoming anxiously awaited DC films, including the second installment from Suicide Squad, titled The Suicide Squad. During the panel, James Gunn answered some fan questions where he tells fans that his favorite character to write about is Harley Quinn, there are more special effects in this film than most DC films, and more. After the fantastic character reveals video, they brought the majority of the cast into the panel to play a game, which was hilarious to watch.

Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Colonel Rick Flag, Michael Rooker as Savant, Flula Borg as Javelin, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, David Dastmalchian as Polka Dot Man, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, Mayling Ng as Mongal, Peter Capaldi as Thinker, Alice Braga as SolSoria, Pete Davidson as Black Guard, Nathan Fillion as T.D.K., Sean Gunn as Weasel, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, John Cena as Peace Maker, and Steve Agee as King Shark are the characters announced in the above video.

The Suicide Squad is directed by James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy), who wrote the screenplay, with the story by John Ostrander (Birds of Prey TV series). The studded star cast includes Taika Waititi, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Alice Braga, Jai Courtney, Nathan Fillion, Pete Davidson, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, Sean Gunn, Mayling Ng, Peter Capaldi, and more.

The Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 6, 2021.
