Our Five Favorite Dan Espinoza Moments From ‘Lucifer’

With Season Five of Lucifer dropping on Netflix today, we thought it was time to remind you of all the reasons to love this show. Let’s start with Detective Dan Espinoza, brought to life by Kevin Alejandro.

Dan’s journey throughout the last four seasons has been a long one. We’ve loved him and loved to hate him. But as you watch him go from just being Chloe’s ex and Trixie’s father to Charlotte’s partner and a friend to Amenadiel, he will quickly become one of your favorite characters as well.

In this episode, Lucifer finds out Dan has a secret. He does improv and a “Spot on” impression of Lucifer himself. This is also one of the first episodes where we get to see Dan and Lucifer spend some much needed and previously avoided quality time together.

Season 4, Episode 10 – “Who’s da New King of Hell?”

One of our all-time favorite moments is when Dan and Ella drop some sick beats in the season four finale episode. It’s the perfect break in what is a rather tense and dramatic finale.

Season 3, Episode 22 – “All Hands On Decker”

Dan and Charlotte’s relationship may have gotten off to a rocky start, but by the end, they had become one of our favorite T.V couples. That’s why this scene of Dan telling Charlotte how he really feels made its way on the list of our favorite moments.

Season 2, Episode 8 – “Trip to Stabby Town”

Dan loves his pudding, and in the season two episode “Trip to Stabby Town,” we find out there are consequences when you touch another man’s snack. Later on, in the series, we will find there might be other consequences to Dan’s pudding addiction, which you will just have to watch for yourself.

Season 2, Episode 10 – “Quid Pro Ho”

Dan and Maze team up to get revenge for Detective Decker’s dad and become the badass duo we didn’t know we needed.

You can catch Kevin Alejandro, both acting and directing in season five of Lucifer on Netflix today, August 21. Have your own favorite Dan Espinoza moments? Let us know in the comments below.
