‘Carmilla’ Celebrating Sixth Anniversary with Virtual Reading of Original Novella

Hey, creampuffs! Can you believe it is the sixth anniversary of the series Carmilla? To celebrate, we are being treated to a reading of the original 1872 novella written by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu. This book even predates Dracula by Bram Stoker.

Chapter One, “An Early Fright,” read by Elise Bauman (Laura Hollis), is out now and can be seen here. Each week until September 3, there will be a new chapter released. If you want to watch the full web series, you can by going to the KindaTV YouTube channel.

The Carmilla web series, which ran from 2014 – 2016, followed Laura, who moved to Silas University and started investigating the missing students — including her roommate. Her new roommate is different, Carmilla Karnstein. Oh Laura, you have no idea. Her new roomie is a vampire. The more they get to know each other and spend time together, they start to fall for one another. In 2017 there was even a movie that continued the story of the couple. It stared Elise Bauman, Natasha Negovanlis, Annie Briggs, Kaitlyn Alexander, Matt O’Connor, Sharon Belle, and more.
