Jason Manns Announces Indiegogo Campaign to Support New Live Music Venue Project

Share:

Musician Jason Manns has managed to keep himself busy during the pandemic hosting multiple StageIt shows, and it seems that he’s been a lot busier than even we knew. Taking to Indiegogo, Manns is seeking contributions to help make a big dream come true — a new live music venue named The Heist.

While we know him as a singer/songwriter, both solo and as part of the band The Station Breaks, he has also helped build the annual Rockwood Music Festival in Germany, collaborated with Supernatural favorites on the Covers With Friends albums and in their solo ventures, and is a regular on the Supernatural convention circuit with Creation Entertainment. His next big goal is to open up his own live music venue in his hometown of Bowling Green, VA. Manns states that he dove headfirst into the project last year and has already purchased the building as well as made some necessary improvements. But progress became difficult as the COVID-19 pandemic halted the music industry in its tracks. He hopes to finance the rest of the project through loans and support from fans.

The venture is as described below:

The Heist will be a live music venue inspired by my favorite small venues around the country, Eddie’s Attic (ATL), Rockwood Music Hall (NYC), The Hotel Cafe (LA), The Evening Muse (Charlotte). Bowling Green is a small town, so this intimate venue will be the perfect size for the surroundings, 75-100 person capacity, it will have live streaming capabilities so that anyone can watch the shows from anywhere on earth, and it will also have a recording studio (so I can finish my latest album!!). There is room to grow as well, so the plan is start small and do it right, but who knows what the future could hold!

This all sounds exciting, especially for fans who can’t travel for shows as the venue will be capable of live streaming shows. As with any of Manns’ projects, your support comes with pretty great perks! Personalized thank you videos, t-shirts, drinkware, the chance to attend an opening night party, and invitations to special events are among some of the many awesome things you can get by contributing to the project.

You can read all about the project on the Indiegogo campaign page here, and check out the full list of perks.
