Netflix is here to fulfill our need for romantic comedies with an excellent cast in the new movie Love Hard. First reported by Deadline, it has been revealed that Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries), Jimmy O. Yang (Silicon Valley, Space Force), and Charles Melton (Riverdale) will be starring in this wild adventure in online dating.

Written by Danny Mackey and Rebecca Ewing, the story follows a young woman down on her luck in love when she falls for a guy she meets on a dating app. Unfortunately, they live on opposite sides of the country, but that doesn’t stop her from flying in to surprise him for Christmas…only to discover she’s been “catfished.” To make things even more complicated, the guy who tricked her promises to introduce her to the man she thought she was talking to this whole time, in return for a favor – she has to pretend to be his girlfriend for the holidays.

There is no timeline for the movie release just yet, but it’s set to be directed by Hernán Jiménez and will be produced by Wonderland Sound and Vision. Stay tuned for more updates!
