Before the pandemic swept the world, Sebastian was busy shooting The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, the first Disney+ exclusive Marvel show. Fans rejoiced when he posted this picture of Bucky Barnes fighting the good fight again. We’re waiting patiently for the first teaser and for the show to finally be released!
When he took “safety first” to a new level
Speaking of the pandemic … Sebastian turned to some extra safety measures on what would be a very short trip to Europe to continue shooting The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, posting this frankly amazing selfie on his Instagram page.
When he showed us he was a leading man in The Last Full Measure
At the beginning of the year, fans finally saw the release of Sebastian’s project The Last Full Measure, in which he took the leading role for the first time in his career. He showed that he could shine next to brilliant actors such as Samuel L. Jackson or Ed Harris in what is surely not his last leading man role. You can read our full review here.

Who knew that we would all be channeling our inner Winter Soldier in 2020? Sebastian didn’t let this opportunity slide to a) remind everyone to wear a mask and b) to show yet another nod to his Marvel character.
When he celebrated Bucky’s birthday in Europe
It would appear that 2020 has been a year that focuses on Bucky Barnes on many levels. The team of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier went out of their way to celebrate a character that has meant so much to Sebastian (and his career) over the years by presenting him with a birthday cake and a clear “107” on it.
When he showed a new talent
During the NYC lockdown, Sebastian started taking photographs, some of which were even published in New York Magazine. This particular photo is a reminder we all need, even months after it was posted.
