After a long hiatus, the movie theater chain AMC Theatres will begin reopening select locations across the country.

AMC will begin by opening up 100 locations across the country on August 20, with 300 more locations opening in the following two weeks and the last opening on September 3. The remaining 300 U.S. locations will remain closed until the state and federal guidelines allow them to reopen.

The chain hopes to have the first 400 movie theaters to be open in time for the release of the new movie Tenet, which will premiere on September 3. During that time, AMC will also show the release of the new X-Men movie New Mutants, opening on August 28.

AMC’s reopening also comes with a few new changes. Masks are required for employees and customers, even in the theaters. Customers may take them off if they’re eating or drinking during the movie. The number of seats for each showing has been greatly reduced and people will need to pay with cards for the foreseeable future.
