‘Love, Victor’ Is Returning for Season 2 on Hulu!

On June 17, we were introduced to Victor Salazar on the Hulu original series Love, Victor. Since then, the show has received extremely well-deserved praise, and it’s coming back for more. Hulu has announced that Love, Victor will be returning for a second season! Get ready to stockpile more tissues.

Love, Victor takes viewers back to the Simonverse that was initially introduced with the book Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli and later with the movie Love, Simon. It follows Victor Salazar as he, his parents, and his siblings settle in their new life after moving from Texas to Georgia. Throughout the show, Victor struggles with his sexual identity, adjusting to the move, and dealing with family drama. The show stars Michael Cimino, Ana Ortiz, Isabella Ferreira, James Martinez, George Sear, Bebe Wood, Rachel Hilson, Mateo Fernandez, Anthony Turpel, and Mason Gooding. It was created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, with Brian Tanen as showrunner.

Though there are no specifics about what season two will entail, we’ll possibly find out Isabel and Armando’s responses to Victor coming out, see more of Victor and Benji’s relationship, and find out how the Salazars handle the looming shift in their family structure.
