The New Mutants, currently set for release August 28 after years of setbacks, has released a new teaser titled “Escape”! The short contains new footage and comes with the tagline “power like this can’t be contained …” The cast of the film recently released a full trailer for the film at Comic-Con@Home, in which director Josh Boone expressed hope that the film would finally be released.
The New Mutants stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. It is a continuation of the X-Men franchise that has more of a horror base than its predecessors, following a group of young mutants in a secret facility who must band together to escape.
