For fans of Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” series, it’s Christmas in July! The channel has announced its slate of 40 (!!) new holiday movies and the actors who will star in them. Among the new movies is A Royal Holiday, which will star Broadway favorites Aaron Tveit (Catch Me If You Can, Moulin Rouge!), Laura Osnes (Bandstand, Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde), and Krystal Joy Brown (Hamilton, Big Fish, Motown).  No details about the plot or the release date for the film have been set yet, but “Countdown to Christmas” starts on October 23.

Osnes is a Hallmark veteran, appearing in the films In The Key of Love and A Homecoming for the Holidays. Tveit is known for his television roles on Gossip Girl, Graceland, Grease Live!, and BrainDead among other projects like Les Miserables. Brown has guest starred on a number of television shows and voices Netossa on She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.
