A few weeks ago, EW announced they would be hosting a 10th anniversary table read of the beloved cult classic Scott Pilgrim vs. the World featuring many of the cast and the creators, and now we have a date!
On Monday, July 20 at 1 p.m. ET you can catch Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona Flowers), Chris Evans (Lucas Lee), Aubrey Plaza (Julie Powers), Ellen Wong (Knives Chau), Kieran Culkin (Wallace Wells), Mark Webber (Stephen Stills), Johnny Simmons (Neil), Alison Pill (Kim Pine), Satya Bhabha (Matthew Patel), Mae Whitman (Roxy Richter), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram), and Jason Schwartzman (Gideon Graves) on EW.com, along with writer/director Edgar Wright, co-writer Michael Bacall, and the author of the original graphic novel Bryan Lee O’Malley.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World follows Scott Pilgrim as he battles the League of Evil Exes to win the heart of Ramona Flowers, the girl of his dreams. It didn’t get a great reception at its theatrical release 10 years ago, but through the years the film has amassed a powerful fanbase.
The read will benefit Water For People, which helps get clean water into the hands who need it the most.
Dolby Cinema will also be celebrating the film’s 10th anniversary with a cinematic re-release as well.
