With the current COVID-19 pandemic, conventions have had to either cancel or go virtual this year. GalaxyCon Live is bringing its fandom convention online for everyone to celebrate and enjoy. Events are happening until the end of August currently, here are some of them that are listed.
July 31
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
In this The Legend of Zelda game, Link awakens after a century to save Hyrule from a new great evil.
The Friday, July 31 panel will feature the character voices of Patricia Summersett (Zelda), Elizabeth Maxwell (Urbosa), Joe Hernandez (Yubobo/Daruk), and Jaime Mortellaro (Sidon). August 1
The cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Tim Curry!
The iconic and legendary actor Tim Curry (Dr. Frank-N-Furter) will be once again attending GalaxyCon for a very special session on Saturday, August 1, at 2 p.m. ET. Curry has over 200 acting, producing, and musical credits. Some of the most memorable roles include The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Peter Pan and the Pirates, FernGully: The Last Rainforest, The Legend of Prince Valiant, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Gargoyles, Clue, and so much more. Following Curry’s panel is the live stream Q&A with Barry Bostwick (Brad), Nell Campbell (Columbia), and Patricia Quinn (Magenta) that will begin at 5 p.m. ET. Once that is done, the two-minute one-on-one chats will begin. Don’t forget to get your personalized 8×10 autograph and video chats. Have you ever gotten on the bus to go to school and realized, whoops, I accidentally got on the bus that goes to a monsters school? Well, Tsukune Aono does just that. The school he was accepted to is for monsters, so he must hide the fact that he is human while making friends.
Tune in to the exclusive live interview with the voices behind the anime characters, Alexis Tipton (Moka Akashiya), Colleen Clinkenbeard (Moka Akashiya in vampire form), and Monica Rial (Yukari Sendo). The Sunday live chat begins at 1:30 p.m., with the three-to-one conversations and the three minute one-on-one chats to follow.
