Every Monday for the last 13 weeks, Big Finish Productions had released free downloads of a new story or episode from one of their many box set collections. This Monday, Big Finish released its final free story, named Doctor Who: Robophobia Part One available on the Big Finish website. This free story will be available until July 5, 2020 and comes with a special discount offer on similar stories on the Big Finish website.

Doctor Who: Robophobia Part One was created by Nicholas Briggs. It stars Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor, Nicola Walker as fan favorite Liv Chenka, Dan Starkey, and Toby Hadoke. Doctor Who: Robophobia was released for the first time in July 2011 as a sequel to The Robots of Death. The official synopsis says:

Nothing has ever been officially confirmed, but there is a rumor that on a Sandminer bound for Kaldor City, the robots somehow turned homicidal and nearly wiped out the entire crew. Can that really be true? The robot transport ship Lorelei has a cargo of over a hundred fifty-seven thousand robots on board, all deactivated. So even if there were any truth in the rumor of that massacre, there’d still be no danger. Surely, there wouldn’t…But then, the Doctor witnesses a murder.

If that isn’t exciting enough, listeners can get the Seventh Doctor’s Doctor Who: Monthly Adventures 133-164 for half off the original price, bringing it to £52.50 when bought altogether. Get them while you can, because this deal will go away on July 5, 2020. If you’re disappointed that Doctor Who: Robophobia marks the last of the weekly free stories, Big Finish promises a new programming of free downloads to come in the upcoming few weeks!
