With production in film and television in an upheaval amid the COVID-19 pandemic, The CW has announced its broadcast schedule for 2020-21. Many favorites that typically premiere in the fall, like Riverdale and The Flash, will now premiere in January, while some shows like Supergirl (whose star Melissa Benoist is pregnant and will likely go on maternity leave before shooting can resume) and Roswell, New Mexico have yet to announce premiere dates. The bulk of The CW’s lineup will premiere in January 2021, likely due to delayed shooting dates.

Shows premiering this fall:

Sundays: Masters of Illusion, Pandora

Mondays: Whose Line is it Anyway?, Penn and Teller: Fool Us

Tuesdays: Swamp Thing, Tell Me a Story

Wednesdays: Two Sentence Horror Stories, Dead Pixels, Coroner

Thursdays: Supernatural, The Outpost

Fridays: World’s Funniest Animals, Penn and Teller reruns

The shows currently slotted for January 2021 premieres are:

Sundays: Batwoman, Charmed

Mondays: All American, Black Lightning

Tuesdays: The Flash, Superman and Lois

Wednesdays: Riverdale, Nancy Drew

Thursdays: Walker, Legacies

Fridays: Penn and Teller: Fool Us, Whose Line is it Anyway?

There is no word yet on premiere dates for Supergirl, Roswell, NM, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
