Chicago Comedy Film Festival Short ‘Beginner’s Luck’ Starring Matthew Gray Gubler is Available Now!

The Chicago Comedy Film Festival that was scheduled to take place March 19-22 at Columbia College Chicago had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, attendees are in luck! The festival has gone virtual and will be airing all of the content on their website.

Starting yesterday and until May 16, watch the 2020 short film selections as well as a feature film selection for a minimum of $1. Included in the selections under The Righteous Truths Shorts Program is writer Casey Feigh’s Beginner’s Luck that features Matthew Gray Gubler, Lauren Lapkus, Ego Nwodim, Betsy Sodaro, Mary Holland, Rebecca Lee Robertson, Ali Ghandour, and Peter Banifaz.

A team of strangers makes it all the way to the championship where they face the perennial champs, in this tale of a small town bowling league changing people’s lives.
