Twilight fans, our time has come. Stephenie Meyer has officially announced on her website that the long-awaited Midnight Sun will be released on August 4.

Midnight Sun is the first book in the Twilight series, only told from Edward Cullen’s point of view. Meyer worked on the book long ago, but due to a portion of it leaking, halted writing. Fans have been left wondering if they’d ever get the full book, and it looks like now it’s finally releasing.

Good Morning America also covered the story, and you can see the cover of the book below. Stay tuned for more information!
