Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is based on an original story by J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, which features new and old faces alike as it picks up 19 years after the events of The Deathly Hallows.
After making its world premiere at the Palace Theatre in London in 2016, the play has since opened in New York City, San Francisco, and Melbourne as well, with delayed opening dates now in Hamburg and Toronto, and a 2022 release in Tokyo. The two-part stage production is an incredibly impressive feat, toting gorgeous sets, downright magical visual effects, and an unforgettable soundtrack by Imogen Heap.
