On March 31, Bad Boys For Life lands on Blu-ray, 4K, and digital. In the home release, we can enjoy more than 50 minutes of bonus content, including an alternate ending, additional scenes, Easter eggs, and more! While the Blu-ray and digital platforms are released on March 31, we have to wait until April 21 for the DVD format.
Bad Boys For Life was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Will Smith, and Doug Belgrad. It was executive produced by Chad Oman, Barry Waldman, Mike Stenson, and James Lassiter. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directed. The action packed comedy earned more than $400 million at the box office and earned a Certified Fresh rating from Rotten Tomatoes.
Here’s a brief synopsis of the film:
The original Bad Boys, Mike Lowry (Will Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence), are back. After a string of assassinations and an attempt on Mike’s life, he convinces a hesitant Marcus to hold off retirement and partner one last time. Together, they team up with AMMO, the new hotshot division of the Miami PD, to take down the merciless head of the Aretas Cartel.
Starring alongside Lawrence and Smith are Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical, Spring Breakers), Alexander Ludwig (Vikings), Charles Melton (Riverdale), Paola Nuñez (The Purge), Kate del Castillo (The Book of Life), award-winning recording artist Nicky Jam, and Bad Boys franchise veteran Joe Pantoliano.
