Pop TV to Air Hourlong Farewell Special Following ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Series Finale

Pop TV has news that may put fans of Schitt’s Creek at ease after the show takes its final bow.

On Thursday, Pop TV announced that following the series finale on April 7, an hourlong special titled Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell. The farewell will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the final season of table reads, wardrobe fittings, and audition tapes as well as interviews with the cast, creators and celebrity fans that include Paula Abdul, Will Arnett, Carol Burnett, Cameron Crowe, Tony Hale, Amy Sedaris, and Johnny Weir. The special will also take a look inside the breakup between Alexis (Annie Murphy) and Ted (Dustin Milligan) in episode eight. Creator and star Dan Levy talked briefly of it in the teaser, “It’s really hard to tell the story of a love story that in the end is still a love story. It didn’t end because they stopped loving each other. It ended because circumstance stood in their way, and that circumstance was their own growth and that’s a wonderful thing.”

The Schitt’s Creek finale airs Tuesday April 7 at  8 p.m. ET with the farewell airing immediately afterward at 8:30.
