The wait is nearly over for fans of HBO’s Westworld. The long-awaited third season is set to debut on March 15 after a nearly two year hiatus, and HBO has released a new full trailer for the season. Subtitled “The New World,” the season is eight episodes long (previous installments have been 10 episodes). Plot details have been kept under wraps, but the trailer teases several interesting developments, including a potential showdown between Dolores and Maeve.
Westworld premiered in 2016 to critical acclaim and commercial success. The show stars returning cast members Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Ed Harris, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman, and Rodrigo Santoro. The series also added several actors to the cast for the third season including Aaron Paul, Lena Waithe, Vincent Cassel, Kid Cudi, Marshawn Lynch, Jefferson Mays, John Gallagher Jr., Michael Ealy, and Tommy Flanagan.
