‘Nancy Drew’, ‘Drunk History’, and More Head to Austin Television Festival this Summer

Season 9 of the Austin Television Festival (ATX) is shaping up to be the must-attend event of the summer for television fans. The festival has announced new panels including The CW’s popular new mystery series Nancy Drew, TBS’s Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and Comedy Central hits The Other Two and Drunk History.

The CW fans have been enthralled with the latest adaptation of the popular character of Nancy Drew and her story. The network has taken a supernatural twist to the series that keeps viewers guessing from start to finish. If you haven’t seen this one, you’ll want to get on it asap. The ATX TV Festival has announced a panel, but is keeping the guest panelist under wraps for now.

Also debuting at the festival is The Other Two which will host a screening of the series followed by a Q&A session with cast and creatives who have yet to be announced. Season 2 of the series returns later this year, and follows two millennial siblings who struggle to deal with their 13-year-old brother’s sudden fameFull Frontal with Samantha Bee will also have it’s very first ATX TV Festival panel where panelists will talk about the process of blending current events and comedy together to create the late-night show in this era of charged politics.

The popular series Drunk History will return to the festival for the fourth time with an episode screening and panel. We don’t know everyone attending yet, but we do know that show creator and actor Derek Waters will be joined by some very special guests!

Though we aren’t sure who the panelists will be yet, it’s sure to be an event to remember. Austin Television Festival takes place in Austin, Texas, June 4-7. Badges, wristbands, and tickets are already on sale and you can grab yours here.
