Netflix’s sci-fi drama series Altered Carbon just got its season two premiere date, and it will be available to stream starting February 27.
The first season told the story of a futuristic society where peoples consciousness was turned into digital form and stored, as well as transferred into new bodies. Based on the 2002 novel with the same title, it premiered in 2018 and stared Chris Conner, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Joel Kinnaman. The second season will see a new cast and a number of new characters, including Marvel star Anthony Mackie in the role of Takeshi Kovacs (the new “body” or “sleeve” as they are called on the show for the same character that was played by Conner in season one). Also appearing will be Torben Liebrecht, Lela Loren, and Simone Missick (known for her work on Luke Cage).
