On January 14, Star Wars: The Legends of Luke Skywalker: The Manga was released in paperback from VIZ Media in collaboration with Lucasfilm. The manga is about the man, the myth, the legend, Luke Skywalker.

Who is Luke Skywalker? Across the galaxies, many have heard his name, but few have met the legendary Jedi. There are those who call him a merciless war criminal — others say he’s not even a human, but a droid! Whether he is myth or man, those who claim they’ve encountered the elusive Luke Skywalker all have an unforgettable adventure to share.

Bringing the legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker to life on the pages are Japanese manga artists Akira Himekawa, Haruichi, Subaru, Akira Fukaya, Takashi Kisaki. The new anthology is based on The Legends of Luke Skywalker novel written by the award-winning author Ken Liu.

In a galaxy far, far, away, Star Wars: A New Hope premiered 43 years ago in 1977, from that moment fans have been fascinated with the story of the Jedi, The Force, Darth Vader, and the Empire.
