George R. R. Martin has announced that his new book, Fire & Blood, will be released May 5 in the US, Canada, and UK. The book is the first of two volumes that will tell the fascinating and often bloody history of the Targaryen family and their dragons.
The Targaryen family was made famous by Daenerys Targaryen in the amazing series Game of Thrones. This novel will be the basis of the HBO spin-off show House of the Dragon. Check out our article on the spin-off here for more information.
