A few days ago we told you about how a fan started a campaign on GoFundMe to raise money for Adam Driver’s non-profit, Arts in the Armed Forces, as a way to thank Adam for his portrayal in the Star Wars films.
Joonas Suotamo, who plays Chewbacca in the new Star Wars films, stated that he’d do the #BenSoloChallenge (where people reenact the lightsaber/shrug scene) if $75,000 was raised. Well, that goal was reached and Joonas delivered.
Arts in the Armed Forces was founded by Driver, and his non-profit brings high-quality arts programming to active duty service members, veterans, military support staff and their families around the world free of charge.
