‘Impractical Jokers’ Move to the Big Screen in ‘Impractical Jokers: The Movie’

The Impractical Jokers are moving to the big screen. The reality comedy series Impractical Jokers is a television show that airs on TruTV, which is currently in season 8. The show features four life-long friends, Sal Vulcano, James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Joe Gatto. They compete in challenges where they push each other’s limits in an attempt to embarrass one another.

One of their more notable challenge concepts features one of the jokers on a store floor, pretending to be an employee while wearing an earpiece. The hidden jokers tell them what to say and do. The joker that refuses the most to do as they are told gets punished. These punishments often play into the fears of the joker. Sal, for example, has a fear of cats, so one of his punishments was to get into a cage with cats.

This movie pushes beyond their show. It follows the four men as they go up against each other for tickets to a party in Miami. They are competing in 10 challenges during their travels. With just three tickets but four jokers, craziness will ensue. The loser of the challenges will not be going to the party.

Impractical Jokers: The Movie is coming out on February 21, 2020, you can watch the trailer below.
