This year, we have seen some long-awaited sequels, reboots, and new series be released. There was a multitude of gaming conventions, events, and contests, each seeing an increase in attendance from various ages. Here is hoping that 2020 will see that continue to climb.

After a few delays, Terminator: Resistance is getting released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One December 10. The PC version was released in November. Also, released this month is the game, AVICII Invector, the game that the late Swedish DJ (Tim Bergling) had started working on a collaboration with Hello There Games. On December 10, that game will be released. Along with the help from the late musician’s father and the Tim Bergling Foundation, the game has been completed. A portion of the royalties from it will go directly to the foundation, which advocates for the acknowledgment of suicide as a worldwide health emergency and to end the stigma against mental health issues.

Regardless of the platform you use — Play Station 4 (PS4), Xbox One (XBO), Nintendo Switch (NS), Computer (PC), etc. — there is a game for you to enjoy playing. I cannot wait to see what games will be announced and released in 2020.
