Sarah Michelle Gellar has signed on to star in a second Fox television show next year!
This time, she is teaming up with producer Ellen DeGeneres in a television adaptation of the book Sometimes I Lie by BBC journalist Alice Feeney. In this limited series, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum is set to star as coma patient Amber Reynolds, who doesn’t know how she got where she is, but knows someone is to blame.

Gellar has already signed on to star in another show at Fox. It is based on another novel called Other People’s Houses, which will be a dramedy based on the novel by Abbi Waxman.
If either of these shows gets picked up to series, it will be Gellar’s first scripted series since she starred opposite the late Robin Williams in the CBS comedy The Crazy Ones.
It looks like 2020 could be a busy year for the star!
