They’re taking the hobbits to … Toronto? That’s right. Legolas’ elf eyes have spotted all four of the beloved Hobbits of The Lord of the Rings trilogy on the guest list for next year’s FAN EXPO Canada being held August 27-30, 2020 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.
The fellowship is reuniting as Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins), Sean Astin (Samwise “Sam” Gamgee), Dominic Monaghan (Meriadoc “Merry” Brandybuck), and Billy Boyd (Peregrin “Pippin” Took) head North to Canada for a weekend of reminiscing about their time in Middle Earth (no Orcs allowed). Multiple options are available to meet the stars, including “An Evening with the Four Hobbits,” Backstage Pass with the Four Hobbits, photo ops (solo and group), and autographs.
“An Evening with the Four Hobbits” will be a special panel with our favorite Shire residents as they look back on their grand adventures to return the One Ring to Mordor and restore peace to Middle Earth with Gondor and Rohan. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any Lord of the Rings fan and is not to be missed.
Tickets will be on sale November 21 at 10 a.m. ET (except “An Evening with the Four Hobbits,” which will be available in June 2020). Passes for FAN EXPO Canada 2020 will go on sale the day before, November 20, at 10 a.m. ET.
