So far, in 2019, we have seen some fantastic games released, and it shows no sign of slowing down in the last few months. November will see the eagerly awaited games of Death Stranding, Just Dance 2020, Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order, and Narcos: Rise of the Cartels. 

Video games are becoming more popular than ever. So far, 2019 has seen long-awaited sequels, reboots, and new series. Regardless of the platform you use — Play Station 4 (PS4), Xbox One (XBO), Nintendo Switch (NS), Computer (PC), etc. — there is a game for you to enjoy playing.

To keep track of all the new video games, here is a list of video games to be released in November.

November 1

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III (PS4)

This is the sequel game of the two Trails of Cold Steel games around a year and a half later. It follows character Rean Schwarzer who is a military professor. There will also be appearances from Tita, Agate, Tio, and Tandy. Players will be exploring Rean’s backstory, uncover a dark plot against his homeland, and teach the next generation of heroes to get them ready for battle. 

November 5

Hunt: Showdown (PS4)

There are monsters in the Louisiana swamps. Playing as a member of a bounty hunter group called Bloodline, players banish the creatures from our world. Being paid helps, that way players can buy more powerful weapons. Fail and lose all gear, character, and possibly your life.  

Red Dead Redemption 2 (PC)

In this 1899 western adventure game following outlaw Arthur Morgan of the Dutch Van der Kinde gang, they are forced to flee the town they lived in because of a robbery gone wrong. All the player’s actions affect how they do in the game. Where will your loyalties lie? 

Blacksad: Under the Skin (PS4, NS, XBO)

Set in the 1950s in New York City, a boxing club owner named Joe Dunn is found dead. Another boxer, named Bobby Yale, has disappeared. Sonia Dunn, Joe’s daughter, hires private detective John Blacksad to investigate. Players investigate how they want to use their feline senses while on the prowl. The player’s choices influence the game and the ending.  

GRIP: Combat Racing vs AirBlades (PC, PS4, XBO, NS)

Choose a ride from 42 different vehicles, which includes anti-gravity, and dominate the track. Players can harness gravity-defying physics, weapons, scale walls, ceilings, and whatever else you can drive on. Break Mach 1 speed in horrible environments, destructible loops, bends, and more. 

Just Dance 2020 (PS4, NS, XBO, Wii)

With 40 hit songs, players can keep the party going for hours on end. The game features the songs, “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus, “God is a Woman” by Ariana Grande, “High Hops” by Panic! At The Disco, “Fit But You Know It” by The Streets, “I Don’t Care” by Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, and many more. 

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 (NS)

Celebrate the Olympic Games by playing a favorite character and competing. Games to participate in are skateboarding, surfing, climbing, karate, archery, gymnastics, judo, boxing, and more. Characters players can choose from are Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Tails, Yoshi, Amy Rose, Waluigi, Dr. Eggman and others.

Planet Zoo (PC)

Players can build habitats, manage, and meet the animals that think and feel in this zoo sim game. The game responds to the player’s decisions. 

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (PC, PS4, XBO)

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is the final and darkest chapter in the trilogy of the Lara Croft origin story. This release will include the seven DLC expansions and a bonus outfit.

November 7

Garfield Kart: Furious Racing (PC, NS, XBO, PS4)

Garfield is here to take on Jon, Odie, Nermal, Liz, Harry, and Squeak in this 9-track racing game. Players pick their characters that can be customized according to the driving style and personalities. There are crazy objects like the pillow and a magic wand to gain an edge. It comes with three game modes, Grand Prix, single race, and time trial.  

November 8

Death Stranding (PS4)

“Tomorrow is in Your Hands.” Civilization has collapsed. Sam Bridges goes on a journey across the wasted land that is crawling with otherworldly threats. The cause, mysterious explosions that set off supernatural events called the Death Stranding. When players die, they get sent to another world referred to as an upside-down world in water. When they come back to life, anything done, or damage remains in the world. There is also a rain called Timefall that deteriorates whatever it hits. 

The highly awaited game stars Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner. It is directed by Guillermo del Toro, and Nicolas Winding Refn.

Need for Speed Heat (PC, PS4, XBO, NS)

“Hustle by day and risk it all at night.” When the sun goes down, the street race that builds players’ reputations begin. Palm City is home to the Speedhunter Showdown, an approved competition where players earn money to customize and upgrade their rides. At night the races and risks are more significant, the cops are waiting, and not all play fair.

New Super Lucky’s Tale (NS)

Lucky is a curious but brave fox on a quest to find his inner strength and help his sister to protect the Book of Ages. The villain trying to steal the book is a cat named Jinx. Lucky must confront the Kitty Litter — Jinx’s kids. Players go through challenges, puzzles, boss battles and more. 

Disney Tsum Tsum Festival (NS)

Take a step into the toy store and have a blast playing ten different games like curling, hockey and more. 

November 11

Romancing SaGa III (PC, PS4, XBO, NS, iOS)

Once every 300 years, the Rise of Morastrum threatens the existence of our world, and everyone born in that year is in danger. But there has been a single survivor before, will it be you? Players can pick from eight characters. Instead of levelling up players, character stats increase depending on how you do in battle.

November 12

Rune 2 (PC)

During the time of Ragnarök, the gods were predicted to fall, and the nine realms would be consumed by frost and fire. But they did not die. Instead, for seven years, giants, beasts, and the undead have devastated the realms. As a Viking warrior, platers align with their chosen god as they plunder villages for weapons, armour, and more. The quest is to destroy Loki with your Viking allies. “Save yourself and all of mankind from the Norse apocalypse.”

Doctor Who: The Edge of Time (PC, VR, PSVR)

Only you can stop the new enemy threatening to rip apart the universe. Players are armed with the Sonic Screwdriver and must solve puzzles, fight monsters, and find the Doctor. Players can also team up with the Doctor and travel in the TARDIS, as seen in the last series. Who is voiced by and features the Thirteenth Doctor herself, Jodie Whittaker.

My Friend Pedro (NS)

The player travels through a variety of themed levels while killing enemies in style. Players will be able to slow time, kick things, split aim between targets, parkour, and dodge bullets by spinning. 

November 14

Bee Simulator (PC, PS4, XBO, NS)

When the sun rises, so does the beehive. Hierarchy and attentiveness are vital for the wellbeing of the swarm. Players check their wings, antennae, take orders from the Queen, and go out on missions.

Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory (PC)

In humanity’s last idyllic refuge Alpha Complex controlled by the Friend Computer, everyone enjoys a life of joy. Treason is punishable by execution. Traitors are everywhere plotting to destroy the Computer. Players lead a team of Troubleshooters with RED security clearance finding trouble and shooting it being watched by the Friend Computer.

Sparklite (PC, PS4, XBO, NS)

Geodia is a whimsical land. Players fight foes by using an arsenal of gadgets, guns, and gear while harnessing the power of the Sparklite. The Sparklite is tied to everything, and it is the life force of the planet. As Ada, players must stop Baron before he can take the core and create a new world where he has ultimate power. 

November 15

Jumanji: The Video Game (PS4, XBO, NS, PC)

Try to survive the ultimate challenge for those seeking to leave their world behind. Only players with three teammates or on their own can recover the JEWELS and save Jumanji. Characters to choose from are the heroes Dr. Bravestone, Ruby, Mouse, and Prof. Oberon.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PC, XBO, PS4)

Focusing on the journey of Padawan to Jedi, players are Cal Kestis, a Padawan that has escaped Order 66 and on the run. Players will explore, develop their abilities, and learn about the Force and their lightsaber.

Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist (PC, PS4)

Ghouls and Investigators fight each other, risking their lives. What side will you choose? Players can be a Ghoul eating human flesh to live, or an Investigator. 

November 19

Shenmue III (XBO, PC, PS4)

Players take control of Ryo Hazuki, a teenage martial artist who is determined to solve the mystery behind his father’s murder and get his revenge.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels (PC, PS4, November 21 PC, November 22 XBO)

In the 1908s in Colombia, influence and corruption are spreading. Cops, guards, and politicians are falling into the pocket of the Medellin Cartel and America is finally taking notice. This tells the story from the hit Netflix series of the rise and fall of El Patron. Players choose your side, Narcos or DEA.

November 22

Civilization VI (PS4, XBO)

In this strategy, game players attempt to build an empire to stand the test of time, where actions help or hinder your city. “eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate”

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts (PS4, XBO, PC)

Players are the Ghost Warriors taking down targets in the role of a deadly nameless assassin for hire.
