Sudbury, Massachusetts native Chris Evans has returned home this weekend to help dedicate the new location for his home stage, the Concord Youth Theatre, on Church Street in West Concord, MA.

Concord Youth Theatre helped facilitate Chris’ love of acting, having performed in multiple CYT productions as a teenager. In fact, his mother, Lisa Evans, is still a prominent figure in the organization as artistic director. Chris and his family took to the new permanent venue on Saturday to officially open the new theatre’s doors, cutting the ribbon before heading inside to tour the new facility. CYT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to theater and keeping it pertinent and entertaining to their local youth and their families.

You can see photos from the event here and watch the ribbon cutting here!

You can see Chris’ newest film Knives Out beginning next month! It opens in theaters November 27, with some early showings available at select locations on November 21 and 22. Find out if one is near you!
