Legendary Comics has announced a new graphic novel for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Thanks to a partnership with the Lugosi Estate and Kerry Gammill, the likeness of Bela Lugosi, who famously portrayed the iconic character in 1931, will be used in the new graphic novel. The art will be done by El Garing, and it is set for a 2020 release.

Below you can find a summary of Dracula:

In the late 19th Century, Dracula, an ancient Transylvanian vampire, moves to England to find fresh blood and spread his evil contagion. There, he encounters two women, Lucy and Mina, who become the targets of his dark obsession. Aided by a group of brave men, Professor Van Helsing arrives on the scene to take on the Vampire Prince in the ultimate battle between the forces of light and dark!

The graphic novel is also set to be a faithful adaptation of the novel. Robert Napton, Senior Vice President of Legendary Comics, said combining the adaptation “…with the definitive Dracula in the form of screen icon Bela Lugosi is a dream come true.” Follow Legendary Comics on Facebook to keep up with more news about the upcoming graphic novel.
